There is no extra step to send temporary passwords. Instead, PawsAdmin matches the customers for you.
Step 1: The regular sign up process
When your existing customers sign up for online booking, they will go through the regular sign-up process. Once the booking request is received, PawsAdmin will identify this customer as a new customer in online booking.
Step 2: New online booking request
Once an online booking request is made, you will be notified via email and within PawsAdmin. Follow the cloud icon on top of the page to verify the booking request.
If you click on the New Customer button, it will show if a match is found. If so, simply click Accept this Match. Or you can match this customer to a different customer. Or if this is indeed a new customer, click Create New Customer.
Can I update the customer match at a later time?
Absolutely. In the customer profile, you can find the ‘Edit Online Customer Match’ button under the customer name to make changes at any time.
Can I follow up with the customers who have created a profile but did not make a booking request?
Yes! To capture the customers who have not yet completed booking their first appointment online(and thus not yet matched to a customer in your PawsAdmin account), you can find their information in Online Booking > Advanced Settings > ‘online customers with unlinked accounts’.
Note: You will not need to link these customers until they have made a booking request. If you'd like to manually link them, simply go to a pet's profile and click on 'Edit online customer match' as outlined earlier.
